It's really starting to feel like the holidays here at the Trax office- we received two very special packages from our partners at Orbitz and CheapFlights.com! Time for Anne-Marie to write back that thank you note/ holiday card, and we will graciously chow down on the wonderful snacks listening to the holiday jingle jangle. Some pictures for your viewing delight:

you're making a list, and checking it twice...

It's almost Christmas (2 more weeks everyone!). The Trax office had a delightful surprise from the weather gods today- first snow of the season! Although it didn't stick around for long, it made it seem that much closer to the Christmas holiday.

...which actually brings me to the point of this post- how's that Christmas list looking? While everyone is running around the mall and various stores to cross people off of that "you rock, you deserve a gift" list, SnowTrax offers an easier/quicker/crowdedspaceless way to get something special for that significant somebody. Go ahead, jump on your computer to our site and buy your loved one a ski vacation this season. We do the comparing so you don't have to- just pick a few destinations that he/she may like and we'll do our part in getting you rates that won't break the bank. SnowTrax not only offers ridiculously awesome prices on hotels, but you can even get your gift "packaged"! ;)

Now how does that sound for an awesome, but easy to purchase, gift (that's also considered super thoughtful!)?!

"the next big thing"?

slopefillers discusses the potential of snowtrax as a tool to booking your next ski trip:

now wasn't that a fun distraction from all the finals studying and paper-a-writing?? okay, so not all of you are in school, but reading about snowtrax can be as exciting as christmas shopping and holiday carols!

happy final day of Hanukkah to our readers who celebrate!!!

snowtrax's hidden face

Ever wonder where we get such amazing ski lodging deals and packages for our site? We actually have an awesome ski consultant, Matt Zito, who is working with us remotely from Maine. He is single-handedly tackling ski resorts and nearby hotels and getting us sweet direct deals with them, which in turn means lower prices and better special deals for our customers like you! He's an expert in the travel industry, specifically in the online business, and quite the skilled craftsman in the art of jewelry making and cooking! The best part- Matt has sent us, fresh off his camera, pictures of the snowstorm that hit Maine last night:

Thanks Matt, and let it snow!

happy holidays!

I hope you had a great turkey day this past weekend! The Trax Team definitely got our grub on, so much so that we went on a Thanksgiving hiatus on our blog for a week... sorry! But- we're back in full swing, and the ski season has started for all major ski resorts (except for a select few- hurry up you slow poke!). For kicks and giggles, take a look at the turkey that went skiing at Aspen over the holidays while the rest of us were eating its cousins (sorry turkey man) and getting trampled.....errrrr going Black Friday shopping:

We hope you all ate well and caught a lot of great shopping deals- don't hesitate to send us nice things that you bought over Black Friday (that new flat screen perhaps?):

Alright, alright... so that was a little far fetched, but a nice holiday card would be awesome (I promise Anne-Marie will personally sit through and write one back to you on our behalf- thanks AM!)! Well now that I've put our intern out for slave labor over the holidays, I'll be looking forward to the mailman this month. :)
